About the Artist

Angela Aylward - Biography

Art specializing in Horses, Especially Rescues

My objective as an artist is to help bring an awareness of rescue horses and why they are important to humans.

They arrive for different reasons but they all respond with a positive and tranquil energy when they know you care. It may take some time or it may happen quickly but it is a feeling beyond words and it heals.

When I am in the process of painting I want to feel their presence and remember that tranquil, healing energy. I work mainly in oils with a thick and thin amount of paint that helps me describe and create the shapes, movement and emotional feelings I have about these magnificent animals.

"A horse does not care how much you know until they know how much you care" Pat Parelli

"Being with the horses settles my mind and helps me think about why I'm important" Youth, Cathedral Home, Laramie, Wyoming.
